Friend's Kitchen Business

Today I'm going to promote some of my friends food business that begins right in the heart of their home kitchen. Real food that made their names and the reason their business had begun. As cliche as it is but truly you got to try it, to know it. Each of our taste and likes are different, you just never know the surprises that comes from a cake or a dish. One might look nice, but never suit your expectations, one might look simple and a bit messy however its a taste you will never forget.
While you ponder on that, why don't you hop on to Ling's Little Kitchen who serves and deliver light food for parties and events of any kind including 'full moon' occasions. Food ranges from sandwiches, salads, spaghetti, cocktail sausages, jellies and so forth. More will be added to the menu in future.

Please contact Ling Ling for further discussion at 016-4824238

Let's visit Judith's home bakery called A Humble Beginning that sells cakes and cupcakes of any kind. What you see is what you get. Not to forget homemade burgers, which you can only get it in Penang Island. If you need cakes for occasions or burgers for parties, please check this out.

Godiva Chocolatier, Pavillion, KL

Godiva Chocolatier, as elegant as the name sounds truly delivers quality taste. Ranges of chocolates and cakes spoils us for good. Well, we wanted to indulge and we finally chose Godiva after some walks around Pavilion. Oh I bought myself a sweet flowery blouse from Warehouse. :) Speaking of a lady, Godiva is named after Lady Godiva, one that made a name to herself and currently in EuropeLady Godiva is celebrated in countless works of art - tapestry, paintings, sculpture and literature. You can read more about it in the website at the bottom. Godiva Chocolatier, Inc is believed to be originated in Brussels, Belgium.

We enjoyed the drinks, especially this two below here. Decadence is chocolate based. Both are rich and thick with flavor, topped with cream and looking irresistibly gratifying.
Decadence & Raspberry - RM16 each

Fresh apple was well made but for the price, I would have ordered something different and make the apple juice in the comfort of my home.:) The hot chocolate remains hot throughout as you can see why. Excellent idea.
Fresh Apple - RM16, Hot Choc Milk - RM13
All the cakes were undeniably good and its unique in its own way. The taste of chocolates and cakes are hard to define, as you either enjoy it or suffer through it, you go mmmm or you cringe! Rest assured the cakes are a thumbs up. You get what you paid for and leave satisfied. That's all we foodie lovers want.
Tiramisu - RM19
Chocolate Fudge Cake - RM18
White Chocolate - RM18

After all the indulgence, we had a walk outside the pavilion and the weather was just so right during a mid day like this in Malaysia. I was admiring the hibiscus on these bowls, a lovely architecture.

Spotted Uniqlo and hurried off to it and bought myself a pair of black pants.

Homemade Orange Cheesecake

What do you see when you look at the picture? A round jelly with hidden mandarin orange inside?
Well, what you see here is an Orange Cheesecake, answer is at the title anyway :P. The top layer is the jelly, covering the cheesecake and its biscuit crust. This is delicious because of it's richness in cheese( good quality cheese by the way) and though the mandarin orange is optional, the combination tasted one of its kind. If you would like to order this cake, do drop me a comment ,we'll get in touch and I will know just who to call. Also, it is only delivered within Penang state.
